| | 1995: Eclipse Internet was established as a South West ISP and launched their 0845 dial up service the following year. 2001: Eclipse launched their first broadband service available nationally. 2002: Eclipse became the first ISP to launch online ordering for SDSL. 2003: Eclipse won the 'Best Business Broadband Provider' at the Internet Service Providers' Association Awards and also received the 'Young IT Practitioner of the Year' award from the British Computer Society. 2004: Eclipse became a member of the KCOM Group PLC. In that same year they also became the first provider to introduce boostable broadband speeds with FLEX, the first to offer a public Wi-Fi service and we also launched the first £14.99 service with up to 2Mbps speeds as standard. 2005: Eclipse celebrated its tenth anniversary by winning the ISPA's 'Best Heavy Business Broadband Award', doubled the speeds of the majority of their unlimited FLEX Home Broadband services, started trials of a new national 'triple play' service incorporating digital television, telephone and its award-winning broadband service and launched a free monthly trial with no obligation. 2006: Eclipse launched a new brand which included a new logo and website. In April they launched an innovative new super-fast broadband services - up to 8Mbps - that allow users to choose the perfomance they need. Eclipse were also short listed for 2 Internet Service Provider Association (ISPA) awards - Best Business Broadband and Best Consumer Broadband Awards. 2007: Eclipse won the ISPA's 'Best Consumer Broadband Award' and was a finalist fot the 'Best Business Broadband Award'. Later in the year Eclipse launched several green initiatives and became a carbon neutral company. 2008: Eclipse was voted the Best Business ISP in the 2008 ISPA award as well as best for business e-mail.
